Here at BaySide Tree Farms, we put a considerable investment of time and energy into producing top-quality landscape material. Our cultivation process begins by selecting seeds from only optimum-growing specimens in the wild, as well as superior private collections. Then from germinated batch, we select only the highest quality seed for our container and field-grown inventory. As a result of our committment to high-quality standards, south florida's climate, and our efficient crop production, we are able to develop a superior product at an affordable price for our customers. We specialize in providing top-notch field-grown and containerized palms, trees, woody ornamentals, and natives.
Landscape Nursery
Our containerized Nursery specializes in growing ready-to-use Palms, Native Trees, Woody Ornamentals, and Bush. We also use a drip system irrigation that allows us to precisingly apply the amount of water and nutrients that our plants need. In addition, this helps our plants achieve even, proflic root system growth.
Our container nursery is convienietly located in Homestead's Redland historic Farming District. (SW 202 ave and 288 st) Some of the palms that we grow are: Bismarkia , Coconut , Cat, Christmas, Fishtail, Bottle, Hurricane, Chinese Fan, Royal, Triangle, Canary Date, Senegal Date, Queen, Alexander, Triple Foxtail, Coco Thrinax Alta, Radiata, and Florida Thatch Palm. We specialize in west-indian native tree and shrubs. Some of the varieties that we grow are: Gumbo Limbo, Live Oak , Desert Cassia, Silver Buttonwood, Ilex, Cattleye Guava, Japanense Fern tree, Jamaican Caper, Mahogany, Tabebuia(Yellow and pink), Senna, Ligustrum, Pigeon Plum, Sea Grape, Orange and Yellow Geiger. Our container nursery is certified for Texas, and Louisiana.

Our location's uniquely South Florida geology -grey marl soil- provides us with the perfect canvas for cultivating superior trees and palms.Our field grown Palm inventory includes but is not limited to: Canary Island Date Palms, Silver Bismarckia, Coconut Palms, Royal Palm, Pygmy Date Palm, Solitare, Adonidia, Alexander Palm, MacArthur Palm, Queen Palm, Montgomery Palm, Washintonia Palm, Foxtail Palm, and Queen Palm. We have taken great care to grow most our inventory from seed. These field grown palms represent years of hard work and unwavering dedication to the production of superior plants for our customers. We maintain our fields to the highest quality standards and take great care when preparing them for transport. The end result is an execeptional product for our clients.
Our Trees have been used for Landscape projects from the Bahamas, to Texas, to Ft Myers. However, we will ship our trees to any location in the United States. Please feel free to contact us before try to book your next load of plants. Many of our customers find our field-grown trees to be perfect for seasonal plantings, commercial applications, and for interior uses (such as mall or offices.) Our tree farm's close location to Biscayne Bay also helps increase the species salt tolerance. Owners Neal Spencer and Mike Finocchiaro are both native sons of south florida's agriculture business. Both come from a long family history of south miami dade's farming. These family traditions have been passed down through the generations, but are most evident in their unbrilded work ethic and committment to quality.
